STAND EASY
During a short respite from the heavy fighting on D-Day, paratroopers from the 101st Airborne stand easy outside a recently liberated café as they await orders for their next objective.

THE HELL THAT WAS BASTOGNE
To honor those who fought during the bitter conflict at Bastonge, each print in this limited edition has been personally signed and authenticated by veterans who served with the US 101st Airborne Division as the Allies pushed for victory during WWII. By endorsing the edition, their autographs help to create a historically important collector’s piece to be cherished for future generations.

THE LIBERATION OF BAYEUX
On the morning of 7 June 1944 British armoured units enter the centre of Bayeux, the first city in France to be liberated by the Allies following the D-Day Landings.

THE ROAD FROM UTAH
Paratroopers of the 101st Airborne lead American armored units through the recently liberated village of Saint Marie Du Mont during the advance from Utah Beach, shortly after D-Day.

THE SPOILS OF WAR
Simon’s powerful piece portrays the men of Easy Company, 2nd Battalion, 506th PIR reflecting on their recent action – the successful assault to overpower two entire companies of battle-hardened German Waffen-SS troops entrenched, with artillery support, along a Dutch dike, 5th October 1944.

THE STORMING OF SWORD
Simon’s dramatic work, specially commissioned to commemorate all those who fought so bravely in the Normandy campaign, takes us to a bizarre, yet uplifting scene on Sword Beach on the morning of 6 June 1944. Above the din of battle, amidst a blizzard of withering fire, is the sight of Lovat’s personal piper Bill Millin who, armed only with a set of bagpipes, stoically commences to play the commandos ashore.

VITAL ASSAULT
Simon Smith’s piece Vital Assault, one of the most dramatic depictions of the assault on Pointe du Hoc, portrays the men of Dog Company as they unleash a withering volley of return fire, forcing the Germans to retreat. With the prints personally signed by veterans that fought with the US 2nd Ranger Battalion, this dramatic edition is an authentic account of this most historic and famous battle.
