THE BATTLE OF CAMBRAI, NOVEMBER 1917

Few images could capture the sense of occasion that morning than Keith’s haunting painting. With this graphic depiction of the desolation found on the mud-soaked battlefield of Cambrai, he superbly portrays the crews of two Mark IV tanks of ‘C’ Battalion Tank Corps, supported by elements of the Essex Regiment and the Canadian 5th Cavalry Division, capturing a brief respite from the fighting near a fortified position known as ‘Bleak House’ on the first morning of the battle.

SKY TROOPERS

FIGHTER SUPPORT – Book & Print Portfolio

World famous artist Robert Taylor takes up the story in FIGHTER SUPPORT, a magnificent pencil study of the Bf109 during the latter stages of the Battle of Britain. Led by their Kommodore, Major Adolf Galland, the Bf109s of JG26 climb across the Channel coast ready to provide yet another close escort to a large formation of Luftwaffe bombers heading towards London.

BREACHING THE DAMS – THE MEN WHO MADE IT POSSIBLE

Limited to only NINETEEN copies to represent the nineteen Lancaster crews who took part in the Dambuster raid, all three drawings have been faithfully reproduced as high quality giclée fine art prints, personally signed by the artist and hand numbered. To create a historic collector’s piece and adding great authenticity, all three are mounted in a single composition to include the ORIGINAL autographs of the two famous engineers PLUS a further two original signatures of veterans who piloted Lancasters on that fateful night.

THE STORMING OF SWORD

Simon’s dramatic work, specially commissioned to commemorate all those who fought so bravely in the Normandy campaign, takes us to a bizarre, yet uplifting scene on Sword Beach on the morning of 6 June 1944. Above the din of battle, amidst a blizzard of withering fire, is the sight of Lovat’s personal piper Bill Millin who, armed only with a set of bagpipes, stoically commences to play the commandos ashore.
