FASTEST VICTORY

Denys Gillam brings down a Ju88 while in process of scrambling his Hurricane out of Speke airfield. It was the fastest victory of the war. Pilot signed print edition.

FIGHT FOR THE SKY

A Heinkel 111, brought down by Spitfires of 66 Squadron, crash-lands in Southern England, September 1940. Prints signed by Battle of Britain Spitfire pilots.

FIGHTER ESCORT - The Legacy Remarques

As per Robert's request, we're delighted to offer Legacy Remarques on this release where his talented son, Richard Taylor, will create specially hand-drawn pencil Remarques in the lower border of the print.

FIGHTER ESCORT - Veterans Edition & Artist Proofs

Completed by Robert in 2023 he skilfully depicts P-51 Mustangs of the 77th Fighter Squadron, 20th Fighter Group, as they head out from their base at King's Cliffe, Northamptonshire (Station 367) on the morning of 14 January 1945. Their task is to provide fighter escort to an Eighth Air Force bombing mission to Germany.

FIGHTER SUPPORT - Book & Print Portfolio

World famous artist Robert Taylor takes up the story in FIGHTER SUPPORT, a magnificent pencil study of the Bf109 during the latter stages of the Battle of Britain. Led by their Kommodore, Major Adolf Galland, the Bf109s of JG26 climb across the Channel coast ready to provide yet another close escort to a large formation of Luftwaffe bombers heading towards London.
 

 

FIGHTING RED TAILS

With their distinctive red tails, P-51 Mustangs of the 332nd Fighter Group - the famed Tuskegee Airmen, climb to operational height as B17 Fortresses from the 483rd Bomb Group manoeuvre into formation at the start of another long and dangerous mission over Germany, Oct 1944. A welcome sight for the Fortress crews, the renowned all-black Tuskegee pilots were credited for never losing an escorted bomber to enemy aircraft.
