DEVASTATING STRIKE

Mosquito Mk.VIs from 143 Squadron, part of the famous Banff Strike Wing, come under intense defensive fire whilst delivering a blistering strike on a pair of large enemy ships off the Norwegian coast in early 1945. Their salvo of rockets, however, will likely be enough to penetrate the ships' hulls.

DOOLITTLE TOKYO RAIDERS

16th Army Air Force B-25 mitchell bombers making a daring aerial raid on Tokyo. Prints signed by fourteen aircrew.

DOUBLE STRIKE

Robert Taylor's powerful and dramatic painting depicts one such strike that took place in the final stages of the Yom Kippur War, on 14 October 1973, when Israeli F-4 Phantom fighter-bombers made simultaneous strikes against the Egyptian air bases at Mansoura and Tanta north of Cairo.

EAGLE ATTACK

A schwarm of Me109s peel off to attack a bunch of Spitfires which have dived out of the sun upon a large formation of He111s.

EAGLE FORCE

Spitfire Vbs of 71 Squadron RAF return to their base at North Weald, September 1941, the young American pilots perhaps taking a brief moment to marvel at the myriad colours of the late evening sun -welcome relief from the perils of recent air combat with the Luftwaffe high above the English Channel.

EAGLES OF THE WEST

Complementing Robert's work and adding great historic interest for collectors, every print in the edition carries the original signatures of some of the most famous Luftwaffe Aces who fought in the Battle of Britain. This is likely to be a landmark edition from the world's most collected aviation artist with a line-up of signatories that will never be repeated. Although sadly no longer with us, their names remain a powerful reminder of the mighty force that went into battle with the best of Fighter Command.
