HOLDS HER OWN

In this thrilling painting award-winning graphic artist Keith Burns brings to life the skills required of both Lancaster pilot and gunners as they outwit and successfully destroy an enemy Bf110.

DESTINY DAWNS

In his stunning drawing Richard brings to life events at one of those airfields in the dwindling hours leading up to their departure for destiny. The scene is set at RAF Upottery in Devon as men of the U.S. 101st Airborne Division's famous 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment begin to assemble alongside the C-47s of the 439th Troop Carrier Group that will carry them to Normandy as part of Operation Albany - the seizure of the causeways leading to Utah beach before securing the area closest to Omaha beach.

LANCASTER UNDER ATTACK - The Masterwork Drawing

Only 25 copies of this high quality giclée fine art print are available worldwide through the Military Gallery, Robert's exclusive publisher for more than forty years. Remembering the duels that took place in the night skies over Europe during the Second World War, each print is issued mounted to full conservation standards as the centrepiece of this release to include the original autographs of both RAF Lancaster crews and Luftwaffe night-fighter veterans.

SABRE SWEEP

Already internationally renowned for his highly-detailed depictions of World War Two aircraft using a mixture of graphite with colour highlights on antique buff paper, Richard's intricate study of these F-86 Sabres further enhances his reputation as one of the world's foremost aviation artists.

BACK FROM THE FIGHT

Faithfully reproduced as a fine art limited edition and printed onto borders that were personally signed many years ago, very copy in the edition carries the original and authentic autographs of three distinguished fighter pilots and aircrew who flew in combat during the Battle of Britain. Each man bravely earned the right to be known as one of 'The Few' and have sadly since passed away which gives even greater meaning to the release and creates a remarkable collector's piece to be cherished for future generations.

ROBIN OLDS - Book & Print Portfolio

Both drawings have been meticulously reproduced as high quality fine art Giclée prints on museum quality archival velvet paper. It's the next step that marks these particular Giclée prints out as revolutionary - it's now Robert Taylor who takes charge of proceedings, transforming each print into an individual work of art through the delicate application of subtle embellishments, elegant highlights and refined tonal applications of muted colour wash. Only then, when he is entirely satisfied with the finished result, does Robert title and caption each work before signing and hand-numbering each of these individual and unique pieces.

DUTY OF THE DAY

In tribute to this legendary aircraft, Robert's detailed painting has been faithfully reproduced as a Limited Edition print which has been personally signed and authenticated by veterans who flew the 'wooden wonder' in combat during the war.
