RETURN TO RIDGEWELL - Matted Collector's Edition

HIGH OVER THE WESTERN FRONT

To quicken the hearts of all aviation art collectors and enthusiasts of the Great War, we are excited to announce that in addition to its publication as a signed limited edition print, High Over the Western Front is issued with the original and highly sought-after original signatures of two famous aviators who are not only remembered in history books for their influence on the outcome of the First World War, but helped shape the success of the Allied push for victory during World War Two and long after.

PREPARING FOR ACTION

Keith's poignant and atmospheric piece serves as a lasting tribute to all those who flew this mighty aircraft in combat during WWII and the ground crews who so valiantly supported them.

THE FLYING CIRCUS

In his stunning graphite work Richard Taylor brilliantly recreates a scene at an airfield in Flanders shortly before the German Spring Offensive of 1918. Flying his distinctive, highly-recognisable red-painted Fokker Dr.1 tri-plane, Richthofen leads his men away from their makeshift base towards the British lines. As they prowl the skies above the Front an encounter with the RFC will surely happen and the pilots of the 'Flying Circus' will once again be wheeling and turning in yet another death-defying cauldron of one-on-one, close-combat dog-fights.

LUCKY JANE

Each print in the edition has been personally signed by artist Anthony Saunders and serves as a fitting tribute to the brave airmen who flew Lancasters with Bomber Command during WWII.

EAGLES OF THE EIGHTH

We are deeply honoured that over the years by up to four famous veterans who flew this amazing fighter in combat during WW2 have been able to join artist Richard Taylor in signing the prints of this memorable edition. In tribute to the great men who flew P-51s, the matted Veterans Edition and Remarques include the original and fully authenticated autographs of some of the finest pilots and Aces to fly Mustangs during the war.
